Mr Bluejay

Here are three of my favorite Bluejay pictures. I only saw one levitating Blue Jay in my life and this is proof they exist. Last year we had a family of five Blue Jays and seven or eight Grosbeaks. So far this year we have rarely seen either species.

OK Paul, you peaked my curiosity. What is a levitating Ble Jay?

A levitating Blue Jay is able to rise into the air a few inches without extending its wings. Amazing feat and I bet you have never seen one before today.
