I wasn't happy with them because they are all soft. The camera had a hard time focusing on the hummingbirds and they were fighting so no bird stayed in one place more than a second making it difficult to capture them.
Now I have the D300 I hope to be able to take beter hummingbird pictures. The D300 is faster focsuing than my D70s and records a lot more frames when I take a burst of photos. I can also boost the ISO to obtain a faster shutter speed which will help a lot.
I have always been interested in photography but since 2004 I switched from film to digital and have really concentrated on improving my photography skill. I trust this shows in the quality of images I am taking. I take photos here on my blog for my own enjoyment and share them with you in hope you, the viewer, will enjoy them too.

Great shots. Must have been an awfully fast shutter speed... very tough to capture the wings clearly as they beat so many times per minute
