More from Harding's Pond

Here are a few of the other pictures I was concentrating on before the Great Blue Heron dropped in.

#1 - I was planning to change my lens to a wider angle lens when the Great Blue Heron came by.

#2 - This is a reflection picture flipped 180 degrees.

#3 - Moon reflecting in the pond with contrast boosted a bit. It is not completely sharp as the water was moving a little.

#4 - This is a picture of the moon over Harding's Pond. Conveted to black and white.

Dude! You can't be flipping the moon over on it's side like that. It's just not right! Oh but wait! On closer inspection I see that the two pictures were not taken on the same day. Seems this time you figured out how to go 1000 years into the future. My mistake! :)

p.s. I like the B&W one best - is it the one facing the right way?

Hi Mrs. Rule;

There was no flipping going on here. Both moon pictures were taken within minutes of each other The first is the moon reflected in the pond, taken at 7:58 Am. Being reflected would make it upside down wouldn't it?

The black and white was taken at 8:06 Am. It was so bright and clear up there in the sky I just couldn't resist taking it.

No comments on my typing skills please, it hurts my feelings.

Any date discrepancies are due to me inadvertently hitting the future button on my Nikon.

My mistake!! I only read every second word. If I paid more attention I would have seen that it was a reflection. My apologies!! (Okay, who am I kidding...I only look at the pictures.) Moon shot reflected in the pond - VERY COOL! Sorry I didn't get that the first time.

I would never comment on your typing skills! So long as you never comment on my inability to spell.

I hear the new release for Canon will have a future button too!

Hey there Mrs Rule;

Just got back from town. I took a few pictures of this and that. More of an experiment than anything else. If they turn out I may post a few.

Yes, it pays to read the captions on the pictures. I work hard to put the right dates on them too, although I fail occasionally.

Where would I be without spellcheck?

Those future buttons are not all they are cracked up to be. Gees it is tough enough to get everyone looking and smiling in the present time without worrying about the future.
