Summer's End...?

I had a few minutes this morning to wander around a very small flower garden in Millidgeville. Sadly most of the flowers were starting to die. As I set up my camera the wind whispered faintly in the trees, "summer is over, get ready for fall!!"

Where was the garden? Outside the zoo?

Hi Mrs Rule;

I at least expected a scolding about predicting the end of Summer so early in the season. Does this mean you agree with me??? Congrats on the win at the scavenger hunt. That was a 'sharp' picture.

No, the flowers were not at the zoo but you are close. Just down the side street a few hundred yards from the zoo. I had Carrie and Mya with me.

We drove by the zoo and I saw the black eyed Susans and I had to wonder.

I was pretty pleased that I "edged" out some of the competition. :)

If my tree out front is any indication of the change in season, I do have to agree, but I love the fall and can't say I'm sad to see it arrive. Although it means the end of my relationship with my precious lawn for this year. LOL!! Also, it means I'm a little closer to bringing home a sibling for Baby Rule. I'm looking forward to shooting this fall. I AM GOING TO DO IT! Not like last year.

Mrs Rule;

That Dude is me a few years ago. Wondering if anyone would notice...

I think our camera club will be going on a field trip to get some of the fall colors. You are invited.
