I was up early this morning. Since the sun had not yet risen I decided to try and get a few pictures before it did. It is amazing the color changes that occur in just a few minutes at this time of the day.
It is not all that often I am up and in a location where I can take pictures before the sun comes up. It was a good thing I was today because it became overcast quite early in the day. I have a few more pictures from this morning that I will try and get posted in the next couple of days.
Not being a snow person this weather suits me just fine. I do look forward to having lots of snow sometime this winter so I can trek through the woods past midnight in order to capture some bright moonlight scenes. There are very few places nearby where there are no street lights or other artificial light sources to mess with an otherwise perfect moonlight shot. The last thing I need is to encounter is a moose or other large animal deep in the woods half way through a 20 minute exposure...
I have always been interested in photography but since 2004 I switched from film to digital and have really concentrated on improving my photography skill. I trust this shows in the quality of images I am taking. I take photos here on my blog for my own enjoyment and share them with you in hope you, the viewer, will enjoy them too.
