Blue Pattern

I get comments from time to time that I need to be a bit more radical with the type of pictures I take. I do from time to time take those kind of pictures but usually keep them to myself.

I was visiting a friend Boxing Day evening and as I walked past this I just had to take a picture.

1/30", F 5.6, ISO 800, 200mm, handheld. Cropped just bit in Photoshop. Without the wide open aperature and the 200 mm telephoto I would not have had the proper depth of field I wanted.

Did you guess it was a light shade?

Kayli at Mud Lake

Kayli and I decided to check out the trail to Mud Lake on Dec 29th. We found plenty of snow.
