After Sunset - Jan 14 2010

I stopped at Saint's Rest Beach in West Saint John on Thursday evening. The sun had gone below the horizon and the light was fading fast. I took several pictures, more to see what I could get than with any specific idea in mind. Towards the end it was so dark the auto focus in some images took a while to kick in, much too dark to focus manually. Framing was also difficult because I was unable to see what exactly was in the frame.

I had a few minutes Thursday evening to wander around the foot of King Street with my camera and tripod. Here are a few of the pictures I took.

Note the ghost walking on the sidewalk in front of Barbour's General Store.
