Odds and Ends

Here are some images I took the last couple of weeks. One to Three taken in Fredericton. I want to photograph the walking bridge some evening when the lights are on. Should be interesting.
Four and Five taken in St Martins.

Saint John in the Rain - April 11 2011.

While my granddaughter was at swimming last Monday evening I wandered around Market Square and Brunswick Square with my camera. Sorry about the self portrait.

I only included a couple of people pictures for the mood they convey.

Artistic Attempt

I stopped along the road near Cambridge Narrows last week in order to practice some panning shots. This is the effect I am looking for. The problem with this picture is my lens at 24 mm was not wide enough to include the tops of the trees. I could not go any further back or I would include the edge of the road. I will take this photo again with a wider angle lens next time I am by there.

Immature Bald Eagle.

I took this picture of what I believe to be a Bald Eagle this past Friday, April 15 2011. He was very patient and watched me get out of my car and move around so I had a clear view of him through the branches. After I took about 10 pictures he flew off to a less bothersome perch.

Mud Lake - April 2 2011

It's no April Fools joke. We got a lot of snow yesterday. I went out to Mud Lake to see what I could capture before it all melted. Here are a few pictures from that trek. Some of these are panoramic pictures consisting of two or three images stitched together with a vertical size of 1200 pixels/inch. There was virtually no color so I converted the images to black and white.
