Moon Scenes

Taken before the eclipse tonight. It was cold out and these are the first long exposure low light picturea I have taken with my new camera. I had to convert image #2 to black and white due to street light pollution. I thought I was far enough away but once I saw the picture on my PC I found I wasn't.

February Color

I am going to try and take a few pictures this month that contain some color even though this month is pretty colorless. Here is my first one taken when the light was flat and there were no sharp shadows.

There was no special work done in photoshop to enhance or remove color. This picture is as I saw it.

Oh, Deer

When I arrived home Thursday night just about sunset I was surprised to see this fellow standing in my back yard beside my deck. I stopped and talked to him for a few minutes and even though he was a bit shy he didn't move until I got to within 10 feet from him. Later that evening there were 5 deer in my back yard, two quite small. I snapped these pictures this afternoon from my back deck. They sure are not as timid as I would like them to be.
