First snowfall of 2011

We had a decent snow storm yesterday. All over the Maritime Provinces there were multiple car crashes and other acts of not being prepared and adjusting to winter diving conditions. For the most part I stayed indoors but wanting to get at least one picture of the event, and some of the discomfort it brought, I snapped this through the kitchen window. Pretty well says it all.

This can happen when one does not pay attention to warning signs.

After the Rain - Nov 11 2011.

I drove over to the Nail Factory Road on the Kingston Peninsula yesterday to photograph the water after the heavy rain we had overnight. I wasn't disappointed. These images were stitched using Microsoft ICE. The brooks coordinates are 45°25'8.01"N 66° 2'41.48"W.
