My friend Nicole and I went for a photo walk around last week. Here are a few of the images I took.

October Fall Colors

These fall pictures were taken as three separate HDR (High Dynamic Range) images each and then post processed in Photomatix. The reason I did the pictures this way was to provide emphasis and a better exposure to the sky and clouds. With any post processing medium it is very easy to process an image too much. Aside from the first image which looks a tiny bit overdone they don't look too bad, to me. Photography is a continual learning process and only by not being reluctant to try new things can one improve their skill level.
